Rhizome Design System – Scaling for the Future

As a key contributor to the Rhizome Design System, I worked on developing a unified design framework for both web and mobile experiences. Beyond establishing scalable components and guidelines, I explored how Rhizome could evolve for future devices. Through a proof of concept (PoC), I designed adaptations for emerging platforms like smartwatches, AR headsets, and AR modules within mobile devices. This forward-thinking approach ensured Rhizome’s adaptability, making it future-ready for new interaction paradigms.

Cropin AkαΉ£ara & Sage – AI-Powered Interfaces for Smarter Agriculture

AkαΉ£ara is an open-source micro language model, and Sage is a real-time generative AI platform designed to deliver intelligent, data-driven insights for agriculture. Designed for seamless integration with Cropin’s products, their interfaces enable users to interact with AI through natural language queries, access actionable insights, and make informed decisions. The design focuses on intuitive interactions for LLM-based AI features, ensuring a smooth user experience across web and mobile while enhancing the efficiency and scalability of AI-powered agriculture.

Cropin Agri Knowledge Graph – Powering AI-Driven Agriculture

The Agri Knowledge Graph is a vast data framework that powers Cropin’s AI-driven solutions. It enables precise, data-driven decision-making for agribusinesses and supports AI models like Sage and AkαΉ£ara.

As a proof of concept (PoC), a dedicated web interface was designed to make this complex dataset more accessible and actionable. Users could seamlessly explore interconnected agricultural insights, understand semantic connections, and leverage AI-powered recommendations. The Expert Knowledge Graph with inference capabilities further enhanced decision-making by drawing intelligent conclusions from vast agricultural data, enabling predictive insights and deeper contextual understanding

Farm Engagement – Making Communication Seamless

The Farm Engagement module was designed to help agronomists and admins set up multi-channel communication with farmers, contractors, and other stakeholders in Cropin Cloud. However configuring campaigns was time-consuming, and usability issues made it harder to set up automated messages triggered by tasks, alerts, weather updates, and crop health insights.

To fix this, we streamlined the setup process, reduced friction, and introduced a preview windowβ€”especially for WhatsAppβ€”so users could see exactly what messages would look like before sending them. These improvements made campaign creation faster and more intuitive, leading to increased adoption. Users could now easily track performance, see how many messages were delivered, and focus on meaningful engagement rather than struggling with the tool itself.

Enhancing Area Audit – Precision in Plot & Asset Mapping

The Area Audit feature was enhanced to make plot and asset boundary creation more flexible and precise across Cropin Cloud (web) and Cropin Grow (mobile). Users can now define boundaries using KML files, manual drawing, or the Walk Around featureβ€”designed for offline use in remote fields where connectivity is limited. The redesigned experience also enables users to adjust boundaries by adding or subtracting specific portions, ensuring greater accuracy. Live feedback provides real-time comparisons against the declared area, helping users validate boundaries with confidence. These improvements made area audits more seamless, even in challenging field conditions.

SmartRisk – Regional Intelligence Platform

From Standalone to Seamless Integration

SmartRisk was designed as a 0β†’1 SaaS platform for real-time regional risk analysis, empowering governments and agribusinesses to predict and mitigate risks like droughts, pests, and market shifts. The platform featured dynamic dashboards with predictive analytics, integrating weather, soil, and satellite data to enhance decision-making. By introducing AI-driven risk alerts, it reduced manual analysis time by 40%. Initially launched as a standalone product, SmartRisk was later integrated into Cropin Cloud, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining design consistency within the larger ecosystem.

Cropin Cloud – Production Monitoring Dashboard

From Navigation Tool to Insight-Driven Decision-Making

The original dashboard lacked meaningful insights, with users primarily using it to navigate to plot pages via map pins and other details. After extensive user research and stakeholder collaboration, the design was reimagined to provide deeper, multi-layered insights. With refined analytics and a more actionable data-driven experience, users began spending more time on the dashboard, relying less on the reports section as key insights became more accessible upfront. This transformation enhanced decision-making and improved overall user engagement (100%) within Cropin Cloud.
